Graduate Software Developer

Location: Fully Remote – (ideally within commuting distance of Edinburgh for company meet ups / days out) Experience: Graduate / Entry Level Salary: £31-35,000 plus bonus and benefits. We're looking for a Graduate Software Developer who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop their career in a real-world software engineering environment. You don't need years of experience. We're looking for potential, enthusiasm and the ability to learn. The role You'll join our development team and work alongside experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle. You'll contribute to the development of AgenTrak, working on real features and improvements rather than simply working on training exercises or internal projects. As you develop your skills, you'll have the opportunity to work across frontend and backend development, APIs, databases and Microsoft Azure. You'll be expected to: Develop, test and maintain software as part of our development teamWork on new features and enhancements for AgenTrakTurn requirements into working softwareWrite clean, maintainable and well-tested codeLearn and work with our existing technology stackInvestigate problems and help find solutionsWork with databases and APIsParticipate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum developmentLearn from experienced developers and contribute your own ideasTake increasing ownership of your work as your skills developWhat we're looking for We're looking for someone who is curious, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in software development. You might have: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subjectA degree in another subject combined with strong programming skillsA relevant HND/HNC or equivalent qualificationPersonal, university or open-source projects that demonstrate your programming abilityYou don't need to know all of our technologies before you join.
