Piper Companies is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join a leading organization in the network simulation and virtualization industry.
The ideal Front End Software Engineer will focus on building modern, interactive web applications that help users design, visualize, and manage complex virtual network environments.
This is a fully remote position supporting EST business hours.
Responsibilities of the Front End Software Engineer:
Develop and maintain modern web applications using Vue and TypeScriptBuild interactive network topology visualization tools and user interfacesCollaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and real-time dataContribute to backend development initiatives using Golang and PythonOptimize application performance and scalability for complex network environmentsCreate reusable UI components and maintain frontend best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend and backend systemsParticipate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications for the Front End Software Engineer:
3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on frontend developmentStrong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3Hands-on experience with Vue.jsExperience developing backend services using Golang and/or PythonKnowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, and network protocolsExperience integrating REST APIs and working with real-time data technologiesExperience with data visualization libraries, Canvas, SVG, or similar technologies is preferredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
Compensation for the Front End Software Engineer includes:
Salary range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
