Software Implementation Consultant

Job Description This exciting role as a Software Implementation consultant in our Configuration group will work as part of a team to support and configure our Wire and Cable software for our customers. This role focuses on: UI based configuration elements of the Implementation More technical elements of the Implementation which will require knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and authoring of data collection forms using XMLSupporting our customers and relationship building We believe in flexibility and work-life balance. This hybrid role can be based from any of our offices in Barcelona (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany), or Saclay (France), offering the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across an international environment. We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent English skills, combined with fluency in either French or German. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the EMEA region and contribute to a dynamic, multicultural team. Responsibilities Consultancy and Configuration Provide support to existing clients including report generation at critical times of the year Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application Configure the system as per the defined requirements using the system user interface Work with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues Attend customer meetings and calls as and when required in support of larger implementation project, ensuring a professional image at all times Provide status updates, highlight risks and issues to supervisor (within the project and/or people manager) Dedicated Consultancy: Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application Serve as the main point of contact for key customers Techincal Configuration: Build and maintain custom forms using XML/SQL build scripts Qualifications Skills Required/Desired: Minimum commercial experience of 2 years. Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus. Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent also a plus. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent. Strong communication skills in English are essential, together with fluency in either French or German to support collaboration across the EMEA region.
