Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Job description: **This is a hybrid position in Flemington, New Jersey** We are seeking an experienced Director, Digital Product Development to lead the strategy, design, development, and commercialization of innovative digital products and technology-enabled solutions for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. This individual will combine deep pharmaceutical industry knowledge with product, technology, CRM, data, and AI expertise to translate business challenges into practical, scalable solutions for HCPs, patients, field teams, and other healthcare stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience, understands the complexities of operating within a highly regulated environment, and has demonstrated experience developing and launching solutions across Veeva, CRM, digital platforms, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. This is a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial role for someone who can move comfortably between client strategy, product vision, UX, technology, data, compliance, and execution. Key Responsibilities Product & AI Leadership Lead the strategy and development of digital products and technology-enabled solutions for pharmaceutical clients.Translate client and business challenges into clear product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and scalable solutions.Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, personalization, and intelligent content delivery into HCP and patient engagement.Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine practical applications within pharmaceutical marketing, education, field enablement, and customer engagement.Lead products from concept and prototype through development, testing, launch, optimization, and commercialization.Partner with strategy, creative, medical, technology, analytics, and account teams to bring new solutions to market.Develop prototypes, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions that help clients visualize new opportunities.Establish product development standards and processes that enable rapid innovation while maintaining pharmaceutical compliance.Veeva, CRM & Omnichannel Solutions Provide leadership across Veeva CRM, CLM, Vault, and related pharmaceutical technology ecosystems.Develop solutions that integrate into field workflows and enable more personalized HCP engagement.Understand CRM data structures, field workflows, customer segmentation, content delivery, and closed-loop engagement.Help design solutions that connect field interactions, digital engagement, content, data, and analytics across channels.Work with internal and external technology teams to define integrations, APIs, data flows, and platform requirements.Serve as a subject matter expert for clients and internal teams on Veeva-enabled and CRM-based engagement solutions.Enablement & Adoption Develop strategies to ensure new products and platforms are successfully adopted by field teams, marketers, HCPs, patients, and other intended users.Partner with clients to develop launch, training, onboarding, and change-management strategies.Translate complex technology into intuitive workflows and clear value propositions for non-technical users.Monitor product utilization and identify opportunities to improve adoption, engagement, and user experience.Create product documentation, training resources, best practices, and internal enablement materials.Analytics, Platforms & Reporting Provide strategic and functional leadership across platforms including: DomoPower BIGoogle AnalyticsExecutive Dashboard DesignVeeva CRM / CLM / VaultAdobe Experience CloudAdobe Experience Manager (AEM)WorkfrontAdobe Acrobat SignEgnyteFigmaPartner with analytics teams to define meaningful KPIs and reporting frameworks that demonstrate product adoption, engagement, performance, and business impact. Compliance, Regulatory & Privacy Ensure products are designed and developed within pharmaceutical PRC/MLR frameworks and promotional requirements.Understand the regulatory implications of AI-generated, personalized, and dynamically delivered content.Partner with legal, regulatory, privacy, medical, and information-security stakeholders throughout product development.Incorporate privacy-by-design principles into digital products and data strategies.Maintain working knowledge of:Pharma PRC/MLR processesHIPAAData privacy and consent managementOneTrustADA and WCAG accessibility standardsDigital and AI governanceServe as a Privacy Champion and advocate for responsible data and AI practices across product development.Qualifications 10+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare communications, digital health, healthcare technology, or a related industry.Significant experience working directly with pharmaceutical companies and understanding their commercial, medical, regulatory, and technology environments.Demonstrated experience leading the development and launch of digital products, platforms, CRM solutions, or technology-enabled services.Strong working knowledge of Veeva CRM, CLM, and/or Vault.Experience with pharmaceutical field-force technology and HCP engagement workflows.Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies, with demonstrated ability to translate new capabilities into practical business solutions.Experience with analytics, dashboards, data visualization, and digital measurement.Familiarity with Domo, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud, Workfront, Egnyte, Figma, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical PRC/MLR, privacy, security, and accessibility requirements.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience leading cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, UX, technology, analytics, medical, and client services.Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently participate in senior-level client discussions and new-business presentations.Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a product-minded pharmaceutical technology leader who is equally comfortable discussing a client's commercial strategy, sketching a new product experience, working through Veeva requirements with developers, evaluating an AI use case, and presenting the finished solution to senior pharmaceutical marketers.
