Description
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Medical Equipment team, with primary ownership of test equipment design and maintenance, as well as supporting product development across the Nox product line.
The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on design experience, a quality-driven mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated environment.
The Medical Equipment team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of devices and accessories for the Nox Medical product line.
The team also supports production test equipment, verification and validation activities, manufacturing, production engineering, quality, regulatory, and external manufacturing partners.
Function & Responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and test fixturesContribute to the design, development, and testing of Nox devices and accessoriesSupport product development from concept through validation and productionCollaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, quality, and manufacturingDevelop, implement, and troubleshoot test systems and automated solutionsParticipate in verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsDiagnose and resolve electrical and system-level issues in development and productionMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on quality and reliability
Qualification & Education Requirements
BSc or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years of relevant experience (medical device experience is a plus)Experience with programming and scripting (e.g., C, Python)Experience with electronics design, testing, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with lab/test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)Experience with manufacturing support and test fixtures is highly desirableUnderstanding of regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) is a plusStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyGood communication skills and attention to detailQuality mindset with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement
