Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team!
The Cloud Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse Big-Data Cloud systems based upon documented requirements.
Contributes directly to all stages of back-end processing, analyzing, and indexing, and provides expertise in Cloud Computing and the Hadoop ecosystem including Java applications, Distributed Computing, Information Retrieval (IR), and Object-Oriented Design.
Reviews and tests software components, resolves software problem reports, and provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS use.
Qualifications
Twelve (12) years of software engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; four (4) years of which must be in programs utilizing Big-Data cloud technologies and/or Distributed ComputingBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university (four (4) years of cloud software engineering experience may be substituted; a Master's may substitute two (2) years; Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer may substitute one (1) year of Cloud experience)
