Building AI agents for data ingestionDesigning data models which make sense for the procurement industryMaintaining high performance data pipelines across a variety of data systemsExposing analytic and transactional data through secure APIs and MCP serversBuilding UIs which help simply the complicated data our customers work withConnecting downstream agents for data analysis Who you are We look for engineers who demonstrate the following traits: Desire to simplify inherently complicated data and software: You believe that data and software is fundamentally complicated but believe the joy in our jobs is making it simple for our customers.Extreme care for the craft of engineering: You are expected to hate when our product has issues, and more importantly, fix them without someone asking you to.Engineer AI systems for development: Writing code with claude code, codex, cursor, etc. is a given; you can create self-sustaining agentic systems (with internal or external tools) to help force-multiply our engineering practice.Process Oriented: You believe our company will succeed because of our ability to consistently keep on top of mounting work by abstracting our engineering processes relentlessly. Experience Some things we like to see in applications: Demonstrated ownership of complicated software systems in productionAbility to move across the stack and design systems which touch many different toolsExperience with LLM usage in productionModern technology stack experience similar or equivalent to what we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Typescript, FastAPI, FastMCP, ORMs, Postgres, Snowflake, etc.An eye for beautiful designs where the underlying data is complicated and business facingCreated and maintained high performance data pipelines in OLAP and OLTP settingsStartup, or net-new team, experience designing and building engineering systems from 0 to 1People who fit the above experience typically have 3 or more years of professional work experience, but we will hire at any level of experience if you clearly are brilliant and self sufficient. The base pay range for this role ranges from $100,000 to $250,000. This is an in-person role in Seattle Washington. Applicants must have a permanent work authorization in the United States.
