Python Backend Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a premier AI and Financial Technology firm that is revolutionizing how hedge funds manage their portfolios. They are building a cutting-edge, cloud-native platform from the ground up, leveraging the latest technologies to deliver real-time market data and scalable financial applications. The Role Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI. Build scalable REST APIs for cloud-native financial applications. Develop backend services and APIs from scratch for a greenfield Portfolio Management System. Integrate with Bloomberg and other third-party providers for real-time market data ingestion. Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQL data models; work with Snowflake where applicable. Deploy and support applications within Microsoft Azure. What You'll Need 5+ years of backend software development experience. Strong Python programming skills and experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks. Hands-on Bloomberg API integration experience. Strong understanding of backend application architecture and distributed systems. Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL.
