A leading global Energy Trading organisation is looking for a Front Office Developer (.NET / C#) to join its commercial technology team in London.
You'll work directly with Traders, Originators and Analysts, building bespoke software that supports front office trading activities across global energy markets.
This is an opportunity to develop business-critical applications in a fast-moving environment where technology has a direct impact on commercial decision making.
The Front Office Developer (.NET / C#) role:
As a Front Office Developer (.NET / C#), you'll be responsible for designing, developing and delivering modern applications that support front office trading teams.
Working across the full software development lifecycle, you'll take ownership of solutions from initial analysis and architecture through to development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
You'll collaborate closely with traders, analysts and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software using modern Microsoft technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to influence solution design, work on distributed systems and contribute to both tactical and strategic technology initiatives within a highly collaborative engineering environment.

Skills Required for the Front Office Developer (.NET / C#) role:
Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET.Experience building applications using Angular or React, with Angular preferred.Good understanding of SQL Server or Oracle and relational database development.Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, testing and modern development practices.Experience designing robust, supportable software solutions within distributed environments.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
