Backend Developer - Camunda 8

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Backend Developer with strong expertise in Camunda workflow orchestration, Java, and Spring Boot to support the development of enterprise-scale digital platforms. This role will focus on designing and implementing workflow solutions, backend services, API integrations, and event-driven applications within a modern cloud-native environment. Responsibilities Design and implement BPMN workflows using Camunda 8.Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.Develop workflow orchestration solutions for complex business processes.Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.Troubleshoot and optimize workflow performance, integrations, and backend applications.Contribute to CI/CD, testing, deployment, and production support activities.Follow Agile development practices and engineering best practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of backend development experience.Hands-on experience with Camunda 8 and BPMN workflow implementation.Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.Experience with microservices architecture.Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies.Strong understanding of software design patterns and backend engineering best practices.Experience working in Agile environments. Nice to Have Experience with Zeebe, Kafka, or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
