Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Developer / Oracle Developer (IT Head) to join our IT Department as part of our continued technology development and business systems enhancement.
The role will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle-based applications and databases, supporting business requirements, and ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle-based applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms/Reports, PL/SQL, and SQL.Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications.Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Forms/Reports applications, including Forms 6i/10g/11g/12c and related components.Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and database objects.Analyze and resolve application, database, and system-related issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and bug fixing.Perform SQL and database performance tuning, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing queries, procedures, and application performance.Support the integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Oracle applications across business functions.Customize and enhance existing Oracle applications based on business requirements and operational needs.Work closely with users and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.Conduct application testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production support.Ensure data integrity, application security, access controls, and adherence to Oracle development standards and best practices.Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user manuals, and documentation of application changes.Provide technical support and guidance to users and junior developers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.4–8 years of experience in Oracle application development, Oracle database development, or a similar role.Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX application development.Strong experience with Oracle Forms and Reports development and customization.Strong programming knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.Experience in developing and maintaining Oracle database applications, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.Experience in SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.Knowledge of Oracle EBS / Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is highly preferred.
