We seek a skilled and experienced Software Engineer (mid-level) to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions tailored to the unique needs of our financial services clients. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drive business success. In this role, you will interact with Clients, Business Analysts, and Engineers, performing the crucial task of analyzing and validating business requirements and translating them into detailed software solutions. About The Job Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.Develop our software framework on the front or the back end.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.Architect and implement software systems that adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Work with cutting-edge fintech products and platforms.Participate in testing, release cycle, and QA processes relating to client deployments.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and successfully deliver software projects within established timelines and budgets.Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the financial services industry to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge. Job Requirements About you: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering, or a related field5 years of experience delivering technology projects with financial institutions or enterprise firmsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challengesExperience writing commercial or open-source softwareProficiency in Java and experience in building Java-based Web applicationsExperience in developing user interfaces with Web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, and/or VueKnowledge of current market technical trends, including Cloud, Cognitive, Digital, Microservices / APIsExperience with REST APIs, and equivalents such as gRPC.Experience with the middle/backend tech stack: Java, C#, as well as common knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MySQLExperience with Python & Power Platform, Playwright and SeleniumExperience in data analytics & ML model setupExperience developing intuitive user interfaces and scalable AI services/ applicationsFamiliarity or experience with new and emerging supporting technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Istio, ELK Stack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and/or other Cloud TechnologiesFamiliarity or experience with mobile technologies such as React Native, Flutter, and Ionic will be desirable.
