You Are: As a Front-End Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated web applications using modern frameworks such as Angular and React with TypeScript. You will focus on building responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with backend systems through RESTful APIs. This role involves engaging in technical and analytical tasks including requirements analysis, system architecture design, performance optimization, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. You will work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to technical decision‑making and supporting system integration and testing efforts. Experience with agentic coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot is highly valued, enabling faster delivery and enhanced understanding of complex codebases. The Work: Create responsive, accessible, and user‑friendly interfaces. Integrate front-end applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Analyze requirements and contribute to system architecture design. Optimize application performance, bundle sizes, and address technical debt. Identify and resolve complex technical issues independently. Participate in code and design reviews. Support system integration, testing activities, and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to modern web standards. Contribute to technical decision-making and mentor junior team members. Here's What You Need: Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, and NPM or Yarn. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and writing tests using Jest, Jasmine, or Karma. Familiarity with React and state management libraries such as NgRx or Redux. Knowledge of modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards. Bonus Points If: Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with backend technologies such as Scala or PostgreSQL and agentic coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code). The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
