Job description: Contract type: Permanent Location: Alderley Park Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 02 September 2026 We are seeking an expertly skilled and experienced Lead Web Application Developer to play a lead role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users. The team will be focussed on delivering a new state-of-the-art investments platform, a business-critical multi-year undertaking. About the role Expert in enterprise Web applications development with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS. Expert in state management patterns and libraries. Expert in web application reuse patterns. Expert in web application security best practices, authentication and authorization. Expert in API service integration including GraphQL and REST. Experienced in web applications build pipelines, cloud hosting, deployment strategies including micro-frontends. Experienced in web application testing and left-most automated testing. Experienced in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle. An experienced development lead and mentor. Thrives under little to no supervision. Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and emerging technology adoption. About you We are forming new engineering capability in our Alderley Park office to deliver and maintain a new technology solution which will support our investment product offering.
