Frontend Software Engineer

Summary We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with strong React experience to join our team working on the ESET PROTECT platform. This role focuses on the foundation of our user interface — maintaining and modernizing the UI stack, building scalable framework components, and implementing core platform capabilities. The role is primarily frontend-focused — backend involvement may happen only in exceptional cases to clarify integration behavior. Product demo: Platforma ESET PROTECT | Demo videá | ESET About The Role / What You´ll Do Develop UI Components & Frameworks: Build and refine scalable React UI components and foundational features for the platform.Maintain the UI Stack: Help maintain modern frontend tooling, libraries, and code quality standards across the project.Implement Core Features: Contribute to iterative feature development, technical improvements, and platform reliability.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other developers and designers to ensure smooth integration and good development practices.Agile Setup: Work in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, actively participating in planning and team collaboration. Essential Requirements Strong hands-on experience with React.js.Proficiency in TypeScript or modern JavaScript.Familiarity with npm and modern frontend tooling.Basic understanding of server-side Java or Kotlin (e.g. understanding backend integration, basic API mechanics, or legacy service interaction).Solid understanding of clean code principles and reusable component design.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly within the team. Desirable Requirements Experience with Design Systems or shared UI libraries.Knowledge of Webpack, Vite, Redux, or GraphQL.Experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit) or UI frameworks built on Java.Experience working in SAFe or a similar Agile framework. Basic wage component (brutto): from 3 000 EUR /m. * The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate. * Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
