NX and NestJS Engineer

Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire an NX + NestJS Engineer Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products. Title: NX + NestJS Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 24+ Months Job Summary: 5-10 years of backend engineering experience.Strong hands-on expertise with NestJS (modules, DI, guards, interceptors, pipes, validation, Swagger/OpenAPI).Practical experience with NX monorepos (shared libs, dependency graph, affected builds/tests).Advanced TypeScript/Node.js skills and API/event contract design.Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent), including retries, idempotency, and schema/version evolution.Solid MongoDB experience for low-latency operational workloads.Experience building BFF/API orchestration layers across multiple upstream services.
