We're looking for a Senior Manager, Project Management - Engineering & Technology to lead the delivery of major capital projects across our France, Benelux and Nordics (FBN) Business Unit.

What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of engineering and technology projects, typically managing individual projects valued up to €50 million.
Your focus will include:
Developing technical and business solutions
Building and aligning business cases with key stakeholders Leading the development of robust technical solutions Creating project schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation plans Establishing effective project governance and organisational structures Identifying and engaging the right external suppliers and partners
Delivering projects from concept to handover
Defining project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements Supporting capital investment approvals and procurement activities Leading project safety and safe design processes Managing project delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, and costs Coordinating design, engineering, supplier, and contractor teams Driving risk management, change control, and governance activities Partnering with operational teams to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and handover
Providing technical expertise
You'll also contribute to the development of equipment specifications and standards within a nominated area, such as:
Process technology Filling and packaging equipment Automated logistics solutions
You'll help identify innovative and effective technologies that support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
Building strong supplier partnerships
You'll work closely with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to develop long-term, cost-effective solutions that deliver value across the full operational lifecycle.
What you'll bring:
Experience:
Significant experience in engineering project management and/or site engineering leadership Demonstrated success delivering complex capital projects, ideally valued at more than €10 million Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners Strong programme, cost, and risk management capability Experience ideally from a similar industry
Qualifications:
Essential
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Process Technology, Technical Packaging, Project Management, or a related discipline
Preferred
Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Packaging, or a related technical field combined with relevant project delivery experience
Technical capabilities:
Engineering and technical operations expertise within manufacturing, production, logistics, or supply chain environments Experience in project scope development, planning, design coordination, and execution Strong supplier, procurement, and vendor management experience Understanding of manufacturing and operational environments
Leadership capabilities:
Ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Confidence managing competing priorities and driving projects to successful completion A collaborative approach with a focus on achieving results through others
Working across the FBN network:
The majority of your work will be within your home Business Unit, with opportunities to support projects across other FBN locations.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies, sites, and stakeholders across our network.
