Senior Frontend Software Engineer Fully REMOTE - working mostly East Coast/Central hours Compensation up to $185,000+ depending on location, experience and skills Join a mission-driven team creating digital products that help family healthcare workers navigate and manage with confidence. This role focuses on building high-quality web experiences, advancing frontend architecture for our apps and includes optimizing CMS-driven websites while driving engagement, accessibility, and performance. Responsibilities: - Build accessible, secure, and high-performing user experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve user engagement. - Ensure quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices. - Contribute to platform performance, reliability, monitoring, and scalability initiatives. - Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support architectural decisions. - Manage and enhance CMS platforms, including custom themes, modules, and plugins. - Ensure compliance with SEO best practices. Qualifications: - 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus on frontend development. - 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS. - Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress development and administration is a plus. - Working knowledge of PHP or Python or Golang for back-end development. - Familiarity with Varnish, Solr, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Cloud experience, preferably AWS. - Strong understanding of testing, security, accessibility, and modern web development best practices. Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. - Linux experience and comfort working in a remote environment.
