Good understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID, and microservices patternsProficiency with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights)Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPIHands‑on familiarity with AutoMapper, System.Text.Json, xUnit, and MoqKnowledge of JWT/OAuth2, Azure AD, and secure, role‑based API developmentExperience with Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Agile Methodology, such as Scrum and KanbanDeep knowledge of SQL and experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or MS-SQL ServerStrong debugging, performance tuning, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities, consultative, resourceful, and proactive Nice to Haves Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech industriesIntegration experience with core banking systems or third‑party financial APIsExperience implementing CQRS using MediatRFamiliarity with Docker and containerized deploymentsExperience with Redis or distributed cachingExposure to event‑driven architectures and message‑based systemsUnderstanding of API versioning and performance optimizationWeb Application Security (OWASP) and best practices for writing secure code Location This is a 100% remote, full-time position; however, candidates must be based in Canada. Compensation The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $90K-$120K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
