The Role
We're hiring a Shopify Developer to build, optimize, and maintain high-converting Shopify stores across our client portfolio.
You'll work inside a pod alongside a strategist, designer, and QA — shipping CRO wins, building custom theme sections, integrating third-party apps, and owning the technical health of the stores you touch.
This is not a ticket-taker role.
We want someone who thinks about performance, UX, and conversion outcomes — not just markup.
What You'll Do
Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScriptImplement A/B tests and CRO experiments across product pages, PDPs, checkout, and funnelsDevelop custom sections, blocks, and theme settings that give merchandisers flexibilityIntegrate and configure apps across the stack — Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Microsoft Clarity, Rebuy, Judge.me, Recharge, and similarOptimize store performance (Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile UX)Collaborate with designers to translate Figma into pixel-accurate, responsive buildsTroubleshoot bugs, theme conflicts, and checkout issues quickly and cleanlyWrite clean, documented, maintainable code that the next developer will thank you for
What We're Looking For
3+ years of Shopify development experience, including Shopify 2.0 themes, sections, and metafieldsStrong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+)Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, Ajax) and app integrationsComfortable with Git, version control workflows, and staging environmentsFamiliarity with CRO principles and how code decisions affect conversionExperience with performance optimization (Lighthouse, PageSpeed, lazy loading, deferred scripts)Detail-obsessed — you notice the 2px misalignment and fix it before anyone asks
English Requirement
B2 or higher (CEFR).
You'll be in daily written and verbal communication with US-based clients, account managers, and our internal team.
You need to be able to articulate technical tradeoffs clearly, write professional Slack messages and Loom scripts, and participate confidently in client calls.
