Description

🚀 Senior Python Software Developer | London | US Sports / Quant Trading 🚨 Please note: this role cannot provide visa sponsorship. Please do not apply if you require sponsorship. What if you could build the technology behind a new trading operation from the ground up — without inheriting years of legacy? We’re a small, world-class quantitative trading firm building a new operation across UK prediction markets and the rapidly growing US sports market. We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer hands-on to shape the engineering function from day one. You’ll work alongside experienced quants, traders and developers, owning everything from low-latency data and execution systems to model deployment, risk, simulation and observability. This is a role for someone who enjoys: → Making architectural decisions, not just implementing them → Solving hard performance and reliability problems → Staying hands-on while raising the technical bar for others → Moving quickly in an environment where the roadmap is still being written → Using Python, distributed systems and modern AI tooling to build genuinely new infrastructure You’ll have significant freedom over the technology, architecture and engineering practices — with the opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of the operation. 5+ years’ software engineering experience, strong CS fundamentals and a degree from a top university are essential. Experience in trading, betting, low-latency or data-intensive systems is a bonus, not a prerequisite. Competitive salary + significant bonus potential, 33 days’ holiday, enhanced pension, health insurance and more. Interested in building something from scratch at the intersection of technology, quantitative trading and US sports? Get in touch.
