Senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer

This is a high-impact technical leadership role where you’ll own key architectural decisions, guide DevOps practices across teams, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and production-ready. This is a critical role where your decisions will directly shape the infrastructure and DevOps standards across the organization. Tasks Define and lead DevOps strategy for our cloud-based SaaS transformationDesign, build, and evolve production-grade infrastructure on across hyperscaler cloud environmentsArchitect and oversee Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) environments at scaleDrive adoption of GitOps workflows (Argo CD, GitHub) and CI/CD automationStandardize Infrastructure as Code with Terraform across all environmentsEstablish and improve observability (logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response)Ensure cloud security, RBAC, and secret management best practices are appliedCollaborate with architects, backend teams, and stakeholders to support delivery at scaleProvide technical leadership to other engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams Requirements Extensive (5+ years) experience designing and running large-scale systems on Azure/GCP/AWS.Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally with strong AKS/EKS/GKE production experienceProven track record leading GitOps-based delivery (e.g., Argo CD)Strong skills in Terraform and CI/CD systemsProficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)Solid understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks/VPCs, DNS, security groups/network security rules, peering, routing, and private connectivityExperience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)Good understanding of cloud security and secret managementHands-on experience with Helm or Kustomize for Kubernetes configuration managementFluent in English Benefits Competitive salary and benefitsHybrid remote work with a lot of flexibilityChance to lead a major SaaS transformation with real impactEngineering culture where DevOps has a seat at the tableAutonomy to shape tooling, practices, and delivery flows This position can be performed at our location in Zagreb.
