Software Engineer

Company Profile Marbury AI develops Marbury, an eDiscovery platform powered by agentic and generative AI. Marbury is built as a solution for litigation teams of any size. The platform allows legal professionals to store discovery documents in a highly secure database and perform document review leveraging scoped AI agents and generative AI capabilities for critical litigation tasks. About the Role We're looking for a Software Engineer (Backend), to join our team. You will build, maintain, and own large portions of Marbury's backend composition and data systems. You'll partner closely with both the engineering and product teams to ship fast, high-impact features to enterprise clients. Responsibilities Develop and enhance backend services and APIs to support scalable document processing.Build and maintain data workflows for metadata extraction, redaction, and analysis.Optimize search and indexing capabilities using tools like Elasticsearch.Collaborate on implementing machine learning models for text classification, entity recognition, or clustering.Assist with debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.Contribute to technical documentation and support user-facing features. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.Programming languages (all languages not required): Python, JavaScript, Go, CSS, HTML; React, NodeJS.Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, NoSQL, etc.), including experience with database schema design, query optimization.Familiarity with GCP and other Google enterprise products.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
