Job Description We are seeking a skilled GIS Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced GIS solutions to support the management and maintenance of road networks in the region. Design and implement GIS-based solutions for road network analysis, asset management, and maintenance planningDevelop and maintain spatial databases for road infrastructure and related assetsCreate high-quality maps, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other systems and workflowsManage GIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality resultsStay current with emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices in road O&MEnsure data quality and accuracy through rigorous quality control processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or a related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in GIS, with a focus on roads and infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGISDemonstrated ability to design and manage spatial databasesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailWillingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, and travel as required for project needs
