Job Summary : We are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning across Water & Wastewater, HVAC, Oil & Gas, and other industries. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage tasks effectively, deliver excellent customer service, and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, grow, and advance professionally. Roles & Responsibilities : Develop and execute PLC programs and test plans to ensure reliable and functional automation systemsDevelop SCADA/HMI graphics and implement automation solutions based on client requirementsPerform pre-commissioning activities, including cable termination verification, loop checking, and related checksConduct field testing, commissioning, and SAT at client sitesPrepare and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, I/O lists, and system architecture diagramsMaintain proper software versions, programming tools, and program backupsProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for automation systemsUnderstand task requirements and apply appropriate technical skills and knowledge to deliver solutionsManage medium to high-complexity tasks in accordance with defined standards and proceduresDocument procedures, findings, root causes, and recommendations for completed tasksWork closely with Sales and Project teams to understand client requirements and develop suitable solutionsDemonstrate resilience, persistence, attention to detail, and strong organizational skillsMaintain excellent interpersonal, consulting, communication, and technical presentation skills QHSE Responsibilities : Comply with all QHSE standards, policies, and procedures relevant to your workActively participate in QHSE meetings and complete all required safety inductions and trainingsIdentify and report unsafe conditions; take corrective action where possible within your scopeFollow guidance provided by QHSE officers and use PPE and emergency equipment correctlySupport a safe work environment by cooperating with safety practices and encouraging others to do the same Requirements Education Technical School Graduation / Diploma in engineering (Instrumentation / Electronics / Industrial automation or related field) Skills & Competencies : Role Behavior Accountability - Understands own role and how to contribute to the organization's successWork Management - Ensure own work plan, support departmental and organization goalsPerformance Management -Individual Contributor - Balances priorities to accomplish goalsInnovation - Seeks and willingly shares leading edge ideas and best practicesPeople - Shows resilience when faced with setbacks or criticism Job-Specific Competencies Strong software coding skills with Ladder logic, Functional block drawing and Structural Text is preferredStrong understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IPKnowledge of Data Logging on Historian server or SQL serverKnowledge of PLC Redundancy configuration Knowledge of SCADA Server and client configuration Knowledge of Report generation from Historian server Experience in the Process Industry is a must. Skills Good communication (Verbal & Written) & interpersonal skillsWell versed in MS Office and InternetAbility to read and interpret documents such as P&ID, C&E, FDS, Project specification, QCS specification, ILD, MST, System architecture, Operating and maintenance manualsTechnical expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, Historian system, Network components (Switches, FOC) Technical knowledge, expertise, and capabilities to read and understand Structural text program, VB scripting and SQL Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Rockwell system (Micro 850, Control Logix, Compact Logix, Studio 5000, Factory Talk view SE, etc.), with a strong preference for candidates from the Process industry (Water and Wastewater, HVAC, Oil & GAS)Previous experience as an Application Engineer or Testing & Commissioning engineer is a plus
