Role Description
As a Senior Full-stack Engineer with AWS experience at AltexSoft, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, working across both front-end and back-end services.
You will build scalable, secure APIs, integrate third-party services, and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS to support high-performance, reliable systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing code from peers, optimizing application performance, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical design.
You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver features, refine requirements, and improve development processes.
This is a full-time remote role that requires proactive communication, ownership of deliverables, and readiness to mentor other team members.
Qualifications
Strong Full-Stack Development, Back-End Web Development, and Software Development skills, including experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.Proficiency in Front-End Development with modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway) and cloud-native architectures, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, and common integration patterns.Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git), plus familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.Ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams, with strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in consulting or product development is a plus.
