Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, AI Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI team, you will play a key role in building and scaling the systems that power WHOOP AI’s internal and member-facing experiences. You will work across the stack to deliver high-quality features, contribute to agent orchestration system architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create seamless and impactful user experiences. Responsibilities Work in a cross-functional team alongside product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end featuresDesign, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologiesDesign and build intuitive user interfaces and integrate them with robust backend APIs to deliver seamless member experiencesContribute to feature ideation, technical design, and implementation, translating business requirements into scalable solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following best practices for performance, security, and reliabilityMonitor, debug, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and stability Qualifications 2–5 years of professional software development experienceExperience building and maintaining high-quality, performant web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSSExperience designing and developing APIs (RESTful services preferred)Experience building solutions leveraging Large Language ModelsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutionsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentA growth mindset with a strong desire to learn, iterate, and improve continuously Learn more about our Software Org and how to be successful in your engineering career at WHOOP via our Career Framework. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $215,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package. These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
