Senior Data Platform Engineer London - Hybrid £80,000 to £100,000 + 25-26% Bonus, 6% Pension, Private Medical, 25 days Holiday, (SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE) Are you a Senior Data Engineer who would like more ownership? Are you looking for progression? We're looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help build and scale the cloud infrastructure, tooling and data platform powering a highly successful analytics business operating within professional sport. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you'll work closely with the CTO, solve complex engineering challenges and have genuine influence over how systems are designed, built and operated. What you'll be doing: Building large-scale data pipelines handling terabytes of data: 1.Designing scalable storage patterns and data interfaces 2.Operating and improving AWS-based workloads 3.Enhancing reliability, observability and performance 4.Working directly with Data Scientists and Analysts 5.Owning systems from design through to production Skills we're looking for: Strong Python or another modern programming languageAWSSQL & Relational DatabasesInfrastructure as CodeDistributed SystemsMonitoring & ObservabilityProduction EngineeringCloud Architecture What makes this different?
