About The Role The Staff Software Engineer - AI at Personio plays a pivotal role in leading the internal AI transformation. This position requires a highly experienced engineer to tackle the most complex and ambiguous problems within our internal AI platform. You will serve as the technical anchor, setting standards and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable internal products and tools. This role involves working across multiple domains within the Internal AI team, influencing the broader engineering practices at Personio, and contributing to the development of shared infrastructure and platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in software engineering, applied AI, and technical leadership, with a focus on building AI-driven automation and agent-based workflows that drive operational excellence.
