About the roleDo you enjoy taking ownership of a business portfolio and building positive, lasting relationships with partners? Are you motivated by helping businesses grow through data, technology and consultative advice?
As an Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of accommodation partners across India, with a primary focus on the Delhi market.
You will advise and consult partners on their business performance, market opportunities and industry trends, while helping them make the most of Booking.com’s products, tools and systems.
You will work closely with accommodation partners to improve their performance on the platform, strengthen availability and pricing, and create an outstanding experience for Booking.com customers.
This is a commercially minded role for someone who can combine relationship building with structured, data-informed execution.
Key responsibilitiesOwn a portfolio of accommodation partners and act as their primary point of contact, responding to questions and following up on agreed actions.
Build strong, trusted relationships with partners through proactive communication by telephone, internal messaging and, where relevant, in-person meetings.
Advise partners on business performance, market opportunities, industry trends and actions that can improve their results on Booking.com.
Evaluate local market characteristics, trends and drivers, then prioritise opportunities across your portfolio to deliver business value.
Identify partner needs, position relevant Booking.com products and solutions, and influence partners to implement agreed recommendations.
Conduct regular performance conversations to help partners offer customers the best possible availability, competitive pricing and accurate content.
Become an expert in Booking.com’s products, systems and tools so that you can explain their benefits and usage clearly to partners.
Identify potential partner leads and pass them to the relevant teams for further follow-up.
Take ownership of Customer Service escalations related to your managed portfolio and resolve them efficiently for the business, partner and customer.
Support the organisation of partner workshops, webinars and other events, and represent Booking.com professionally when attending partner events.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to team projects and ad hoc initiatives based on business priorities.
What we are looking forEssential experience and skillsThree to eight years of validated experience in sales, business development or account management.
Business proficiency in written and spoken English and Hindi.
Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to engage partners over the phone and guide them towards practical actions.
A solution-oriented, results-driven approach with strong ownership and follow-through.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to turn data or insights into clear priorities.
The ability to prioritise your workload, manage time effectively and work independently.
A proactive, flexible and adaptable mindset, with the resilience to work in a changing environment.
A collaborative and positive approach to working with colleagues and partners.
Existing authorisation to work in India.
Availability to travel up to 25% of the time, as required by the role.
Nice to haveExperience in online travel, hospitality, e-commerce, technology, marketing or a related industry.
A university degree in Hospitality, Travel, Business or a related field.
Experience managing a mix of local, regional or global accommodation partners.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, presentations and Excel.
A genuine interest in learning new products, tools and ways of working.
