About The Role The Regional Product Development Manager will plan, coordinate, and execute activities of the product development process and make product advancement recommendations to meet market/customer needs. Ideal for candidates living in the SE Queensland region. Key responsibilities include: Provides a high level of service and technical product information to support sales teams and customers.Develops and implements annual trial plans to identify new varieties that will meet customer needs, ensuring timely seed sample availability.Establishes, maintains, and evaluates product development trials with the goal of effectively managing product portfolio to drive our sales growth.Develops and implements product development action plans to build a sustainable pipeline of products.Monitors market trends and competitive landscape and build in-depth knowledge about key competitor products.Works closely with the local Sales teams, National Product Development Manager along with international marketing and R&D teams.A key contributor in coordinating various meetings and events, such as Product Development Training, industry conventions, field days, etc. Key Selection Criteria Must-Have: Highly organised, Interpersonal Skills & Teamwork, Attention to detail Technical / Behavioural Skills: Excellent oral & written communication, demonstrate responsibility for actions & decisions, professionalism & sales and negotiating skills. Systems / Software: Intermediate MS Office Experience (Industry): Preferred but not necessary.
