🚀 We’re Hiring: Mid-Level QA Engineer

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our software products. This role is a strong fit for someone with solid hands-on manual testing experience, good technical fundamentals, and an interest in gradually developing stronger test automation skills using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright. ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and API testing.Validate REST API requests, responses, business rules, error handling, and integrations.Perform basic database validation using SQL.Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout their lifecycle.Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other team members.Participate in requirement reviews and identify potential quality risks early in the development process.Work with Git and follow established development and QA workflows.Understand and work with the basics of CI/CD pipelines.Gradually contribute to automated test development using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright, working with the existing automation framework.Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, refinement, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.Requirements3+ years of professional software testing experience.Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Proven hands-on experience with API testing.Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and client-server architecture.Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication, and request/response structures.Basic SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.Ability to perform basic database validation using SQL queries.Experience designing and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Experience with Git.Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.Understanding of OOP principles and basic programming skills.Basic knowledge of a programming language; JavaScript/TypeScript is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ownership of product quality.Nice to HaveISTQB Foundation Level certification.Previous experience in FinTech, banking, payment systems, digital wallets, or other financial products.Experience testing mobile applications.Previous exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or another UI/API automation framework.Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or another relational database.Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and test automation architecture.Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.What We OfferOpportunity to work on technically challenging FinTech and payment-related products.Opportunity to gradually develop hands-on test automation expertise.Collaboration with experienced Development, Product, and DevOps teams.Professional growth and continuous learning opportunities.Modern development and QA processes.Competitive compensation based on experience and skills.Stable, full-time employment.Position: Mid-Level QA Engineer Employment Type: Full-time Location: Yerevan, Armenia Work Format: [On-site / Hybrid] If you are interested in joining our team, please apply through LinkedIn or send your CV to info@digitai.group #Hiring #QAEngineer #SoftwareTesting #QualityAssurance #APItesting #Playwright #JavaScript #TypeScript #FinTech #YerevanJobs
