Software Engineer, Java/Spring Boot

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices for an enterprise notification platform. • Build and maintain distributed, event-driven services that support critical fraud, security, and customer engagement products. • Contribute to modern event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka messaging and distributed processing patterns. • Participate in technical design discussions and translate requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure software solutions. • Engage in production support, incident response, and root cause analysis for high-volume transaction event processing. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 2–5 years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Understanding of REST APIs, microservice architectures, and messaging/event-driven systems. • Strong grasp of software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. • Experience with source control, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and SQL/relational databases. • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
