They combine the energy and flexibility of a scale-up with an established international customer base. They’re looking for a Medior/Senior Data Engineer who can take ownership of the company’s data engineering domain. You’ll be the only dedicated Data Engineer, working independently while being part of a social and supportive backend team. What you’ll be doing Designing, building and maintaining ETL workflows, Airflow pipelines and data servicesTaking end-to-end ownership of data quality across core datasets and pipelinesImproving data models, storage architecture and query performanceMaintaining and extending distributed systems in productionIdentifying improvements and independently deciding what needs attentionSupporting engineering and non-technical teams with data-related challengesWorking with product and business stakeholders to prioritise the data roadmapMaintaining strong software and data engineering standards The environment Python and ScalaAirflow, Kafka and ClickHouseGCP, Docker and KubernetesSQL, NoSQL and OLAP technologiesGitHub, CircleCI, ArgoCD and AnsibleSuperset and other primarily open-source tools Who would suit this role?
