Founding Full Stack AI Engineer INDUSTRY: Stealth AI / Healthcare Technology LOCATION: Remote Across Canada SALARY: Competitive Base + Meaningful Early-Stage Equity About You: You’re a strong full stack engineer who has shipped AI-powered products into production and wants true ownership in a 0→1 environment.You’re comfortable building across the stack - from product interfaces and backend services to LLM integrations and agentic workflows.You want to work closely with an experienced AI Lead while having the autonomy and impact of a founding engineer. About Our Client: Our client is a stealth AI health tech company building next-generation technology for clinical mental health therapy and patient support.They are building highly responsible AI products for high-trust, sensitive environments where reliability, safety, and user experience matter.This is an opportunity to join at the founding engineering stage and directly influence the product, architecture, and engineering culture. Responsibilities: Build and ship AI-native product experiences from 0→1.Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, APIs, infrastructure, and AI integrations.Work closely with the AI Lead to develop agentic and multi-step AI workflows.Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and orchestration systems into production applications.Build intuitive product experiences around complex AI capabilities.Develop scalable backend services and APIs primarily in Python.Build systems with strong observability, reliability, security, and handling of sensitive user data.Move quickly from prototype to production while maintaining high engineering standards.Help establish the technical foundations and engineering practices of an early-stage company. Qualifications: Strong full stack engineering experience building and shipping production applications. Experience building production LLM-powered products, including agentic or multi-step AI workflows. Experience building healthcare technology that handles PHI within HIPAA-regulated environments. Strong understanding of secure architecture, data privacy, access controls, and auditability for sensitive patient data. Strong backend engineering experience with Python and APIs, alongside modern frontend development. Experience with LLM APIs, RAG systems, and AI orchestration frameworks. Experience building reliable, scalable, and observable production systems. Ability to operate with significant ownership and move quickly in a 0→1 startup environment. Compensation Range: Up to 220k baseMeaningful early-stage equity.Fully remote across Canada.Founding-level ownership with the opportunity to help shape the product and engineering organization.
