The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Responsibilities: Preparation of structural documentation and structural calculations;Design of load-bearing structures;Preparing project materials in all phases of the project;Design and modelling of building projects by using FEM modelling, Computational design, and/or BIM methodology;Close collaboration with suppliers for static documentation, advising and guiding customers, including supervision and project follow-up;Coordination with multidisciplinary teams. What type of project will you work: We work with both new construction and renovation projects within residential buildings, schools, daycare institutions, sports and cultural facilities, commercial buildings, and office buildings. Civil structures – mostly concrete, additionally steel, and timber construction. Our requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;10+ years of professional experience in calculating primary structural elements of building – expertise with both renovation and new construction is an advantage.Advanced level in Robot Structural Analysis/Strusoft FEM Design/MathCAD, other FEM programs;Materials expertise with concrete elements and foundations;A solid understanding of static principles and their application in engineering;Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);Good to have: Revit knowledge, modelling of constructions, skills within computational design, programming skills in Grasshopper for parametric modelling of construction.
