We are seeking a PHP Developer who is looking to transition into a professional services environment. This role is ideally suited for a candidate with 3-5 years of hands-on working technical experience to support platform adoption across the organisation, with defined KPIs and goals. The initial term of this contract will be 2 -3 months, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance. Essential Technical Skills Required Backend: Strong working knowledge of PHP (8.x+) and main-stack frameworks for enterprise application developmentFrontend: Clean semantic coding using modern HTML5, CSS3, and standard web principlesDatabase Management: Good knowledge of MySQL schema design, relational query optimization, and structured data handlingProficient in Microsoft Office productsAI experience and knowledge is an added advantage Roles and Responsibilities Requirement Scoping Technical Scoping: Analyse complex client and internal business/ process challenges to produce detailed documentation of the technical scope requirements for new tool developmentSolution Architecture: Identify and design automated workflow solutions for internal business processes and external clients Platform Management Deployment Support: Oversee the localized rollout, deployment, and testing supportOngoing Change Management: Directly manage and execute small-scale code enhancements and post-development system updatesPlatform Administration: Maintain and administer KLH central master library to ensure data integrity and system availability Stakeholder Management Local SPOC: Act as the dedicated onsite single point of contact for all local/ regional business units and external client teamsRisk & IT Alignment: collaborate with with local IT, NITSO, and Risk Management teams to validate scope/ solutions for compliance before deploymentTender Assessment/ Business Development: Evaluate government tender applicability for digital/ software solutions and coordinate strategic responses with internal tender teamsSecurity & Compliance Frameworks: Understanding of GDPR, PDPL, and other cyber/ data security frameworks of Bahrain Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
