You will help us create a fast, reliable and transparent delivery experience. You will be developing a dispatch service that connects riders and vendors to millions of customers every day. It is a most critical part of our ecosystem, a high-throughput system at the core of our logistics platform. In our Logistics Team, you’ll tackle high-impact challenges that make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for riders, end customers, and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail. Your mission: Own the services that power courier routing, from design through deployment and beyondBuild scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systemsWrite clean, maintainable code as part of a collaborative team Qualifications You have 3+ years of overall professional application development experienceProficiency in Kotlin, the JVM, or similar technologiesUnderstanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patternsExperience with NoSQL databasesYou have a strong problem solving and collaborative mindset Nice to have: Knowledge on distributed systems and horizontal scalability topicsExperience with highly concurrent system and multi-threadingExperience with infrastructure-related technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, continuous integration, and AWS or Google Cloud providers Experience with solving logistics problems on scaleExperience or willingness to learn frontend development for internal tools Additional Information Ensuring you and all our Heroes are looked after, happy, and healthy is always on the menu.
