Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – 12-Month FTC Location: Fully Remote- UK-based Salary: £90,000 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract I’m looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a major UK organisation during a significant period of cloud and technology transformation. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll work across a large-scale cloud environment, helping teams build platforms and services that are reliable, scalable, observable and resilient. You’ll be getting stuck into: GCP cloud infrastructureKubernetes and containerised environmentsTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeBuilding and improving CI/CD pipelinesObservability and monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and DatadogDefining and improving SLIs, SLOs and reliability standardsIncident response, root-cause analysis and reducing recurring operational issuesAutomation and engineering away repetitive manual work What we are looking for: You’ll already have strong experience within SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure, and be comfortable operating in a genuinely hands-on engineering environment. The key thing is an SRE mindset: someone who understands that reliability isn't just about keeping systems running, but about using engineering, automation and data to make them better.
