About the Role We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology team responsible for operating and evolving a large-scale, business-critical platform environment. In this role, you will design, deploy, automate, and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure while supporting the deployment and lifecycle management of third-party software and applications. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, cloud operations, and application delivery, helping ensure that platforms remain scalable, secure, reliable, highly available, and cost-efficient. This position offers the opportunity to work across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, automation, observability, security, and distributed systems within an international and technically diverse environment. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage public cloud and hybrid infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation practices.Build, operate, and maintain cloud environments across complex multi-account and multi-region architectures.Deploy, configure, operate, and maintain third-party and vendor-provided software within cloud and hybrid environments.Act as the operational owner for applications and platforms delivered by external technology providers.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding installations, upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and ongoing operational requirements.Translate application and vendor requirements into effective infrastructure, deployment, integration, and operational solutions.Ensure applications and infrastructure meet required standards for availability, performance, security, and reliability.Participate in monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.Take ownership of infrastructure security, availability, and resilience, applying best practices related to identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability management, and secure cloud operations.Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security scanning, and software or infrastructure deployments.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment processes, and recurring operational activities to reduce manual effort.Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities to support proactive issue detection and resolution.Analyze infrastructure performance, cloud resource consumption, and utilization metrics to improve efficiency and optimize operational costs.Work closely with software, infrastructure, operations, and external technology teams to ensure effective integration between applications and the underlying platform environment.Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.Professional Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar technical role.Technical Skills Public Cloud Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Experience working with cloud services related to compute, networking, databases, Kubernetes or container platforms, identity and access management, and monitoring.Infrastructure as Code Practical experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or comparable technologies.Ability to design, provision, and manage infrastructure in a scalable and automated way.CI/CD and Automation Experience designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar platforms.Experience automating deployment, testing, security checks, and operational workflows.Containers and Kubernetes Solid hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying, operating, and managing applications.Hybrid and Multi-Environment Infrastructure Experience supporting workloads across cloud, on-premises, and/or hybrid infrastructure environments.Third-Party Application Operations Experience deploying, configuring, operating, or supporting externally developed or vendor-provided software.Familiarity with coordinating software upgrades, patching activities, configuration changes, and operational requirements with external technology providers.Databases Hands-on experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or managed relational database services.Familiarity with NoSQL or in-memory data technologies such as DynamoDB, Redis, or similar platforms.Messaging and Distributed Systems Familiarity with messaging, queuing, or event-driven technologies such as SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar solutions.Scripting and Automation Proficiency in at least one scripting or automation language, such as Python, Bash, or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, such as DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Solutions Architect certifications.Experience troubleshooting and remotely debugging complex or distributed systems.Familiarity with information security, compliance, or operational standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.Experience working with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-based solutions, CloudWatch, or comparable tools.Professional English proficiency at B2 level or above, with the ability to communicate effectively within international and cross-functional teams.Previous experience in software development or software engineering is considered an advantage.Experience within telecommunications, connectivity, aerospace, satellite, infrastructure, or other highly available and mission-critical technology environments is a plus.Technology
