About the RoleWebmentix GmbH is seeking Core Systems Developers (Delphi) to join our technical team.
In this key role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, regulatory code changes, L3 support, code/data reviews, and critical domain management for enterprise software systems.
You will work closely with relational databases, large legacy codebases, and Windows-based applications, delivering approved maintenance and regulatory updates while supporting migrations and ensuring high-quality software standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Regulatory Updates: Deliver approved maintenance and regulatory code changes to ensure continuous software compliance and stability.Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L3 support, structured error analysis, and root cause investigation for complex legacy systems.Code & Architecture Integrity: Review code, cover data and interfaces, and contribute to software architecture improvements and refactoring.Build & Release Management: Own build and release processes, managing configuration items and environment deployments.Knowledge & Testing Support: Maintain technical knowledge documentation, provide shadow testing support, and assist with migration workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
Primary Technical Requirements:
Programming Language: Several years of hands-on software development experience using Delphi.Database Proficiency: Very good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL skills, and relational database management.Secondary Development: Experience in development with C# and Windows-based application environments.Debugging & Architecture: Proficient in debugging, error analysis, object-oriented software development, and working with large legacy or monolithic systems.
Professional Requirements:
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with good mathematical knowledge.Ability to understand complex domain requirements and implement them technically.Experience in maintaining and further developing existing software systems.Structured, independent error analysis and a careful, methodical working style with high quality awareness.Ability to onboard efficiently into large and organically grown codebases.Language: Professional working proficiency in German (minimum B2 level) and English.
