Company Description ChatBlu builds autonomous AI agents that do the manual work hotel staff have to do today. Not chatbots that deflect. Agents that execute directly inside the PMS: modifying reservations, processing upsells, dispatching tickets, resolving billing. Any language, 24/7. We run on proprietary small language models trained on hospitality, deploy in the cloud or fully on-premise, and integrate with existing hotel software. Our agents are live in branded and independent hotels across the Caribbean, USA and Europe. Founding Engineer Role Must Have Strong programming skills in Python (or any backend programming language) and modern backend frameworksExperience building frontend applications using ReactSolid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, databases, and system design fundamentalsHands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or other major cloud platforms such as Azure or GCPExperience with PostgreSQL and SQL databasesExposure to vector databases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI agents, and LLM integrationsAble to take a feature from requirements → implementation → testing → deployment with minimal supervision Nice to Have Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud deploymentsFamiliarity with ECS/Fargate, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration platformsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring What We're Looking For Highly hands-on builder who can contribute from day oneStrong problem-solving and debugging skills across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructureComfortable working independently with minimal guidance
