Description

DevOps Engineer | Space Technology InnoForge is partnering with a rapidly growing space tech company looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its engineering organisation. This is a hands-on role focused on building, automating and securing the software delivery infrastructure supporting mission-critical space systems. You’ll sit at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure and security, owning the journey from developer commit through automated build, testing and security scanning to packaged software ready for deployment. What you'll be doing: • Build, maintain and optimise GitLab CI/CD pipelines • Administer GitLab environments, runners and associated security tooling • Develop secure and automated software build, test and deployment processes • Build and manage containerised workflows and image repositories • Automate infrastructure and configuration using Infrastructure as Code • Support software delivery into secure and highly regulated cloud environments What we're looking for: • 5+ years' experience across DevSecOps, DevOps or SRE • Strong hands-on experience with AWS • Significant experience with GitLab administration and CI/CD • Strong containerisation experience • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK, Helm or similar • Python or similar scripting/programming experience • Experience working within defense, aerospace, government or another regulated environment is advantageous Due to the nature of the programs, candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the software delivery environment behind advanced spacecraft technology, working alongside engineers building systems for demanding real-world missions.
