About the Role
We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation looking for a Principal Azure Integration Engineer to take technical ownership of its Azure Integration Services platform.
This is a hands on technical leadership role combining solution design, integration development and platform ownership.
You'll work closely with the business to understand processes and requirements, translate these into integration solution designs, and remain hands on in delivering solutions across the Azure Integration Services ecosystem.
You'll also provide technical direction to the wider team, establish integration standards and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable and well supported.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the technical direction and ongoing development of the Azure Integration Services platform.Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, map business processes and translate these into integration solution designs.Design and build integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid and Event Hubs.Design APIs, event driven integrations and secure data flows across enterprise applications.Establish best practices across integration architecture, security, development and deployment.Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and support CI/CD practices across the platform.Own integrations through the full lifecycle, from solution design and development through to production support and BAU.Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues.Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers.Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners.
About You
You'll be an experienced Azure Integration Engineer who can operate at Principal / Technical Lead level while remaining genuinely hands on.

Azure Logic Apps and Azure FunctionsAzure API ManagementService Bus, Event Grid and Event HubsIntegration solution design and architectureREST APIs and enterprise integration patternsAzure integration security, including Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth2 and Entra IDAzure DevOps and YAML CI/CD pipelinesC# and .NETProduction support and ongoing platform ownershipBusiness process mapping and translating requirements into technical solutionsTechnical leadership and mentoringStakeholder and vendor engagementYou'll be comfortable moving between conversations with the business and deep technical discussions with engineers, and importantly, you'll be someone who can design the solution as well as build it.
