As a Platform Engineer II, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of a modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution within a hybrid-cloud environment. This environment, which includes servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, serves as the backbone for product development and testing of a large-scale project contributing to a critical national asset. You will engage in hands-on engineering tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful implementation of IaC solutions. Your work will directly impact on the efficiency, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, enabling the delivery of innovative solutions to meet mission-critical needs. What You Will Do Develop, maintain, and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Ansible and TerraformPerform Linux system administration tasks, including configuration and management of RHEL (6.0+)Integrate and maintain Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Free and Open SourceSoftware (FOSS) products, including LDAP, Tenable, and ConsulSupport the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based and containerized applications, including KubernetesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and supportInfrastructure/Platform as a Service solutionsDocument system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure baseline control and complianceConduct occasional travel to customer sites for upgrades, implementation activities, and troubleshooting as necessary Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of related work experienceExperience with Linux system administration, including RHEL (6.0+)Experience with automation frameworks such as AnsibleExperience with cloud, containerization, and microservices technologiesActive and Current TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance is required Day 1. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
