Practical Information Location: Sofia, Bulgaria | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Bulgaria | Language Requirements: Strong spoken and written English We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen how cloud infrastructure is built, operated, and modernised. In this role, you will support Shared Platform Integration Managed Infrastructure and partner with Engineering teams to develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code in a consistent and safe way. You will coach others through real work, helping a small team shift toward modern DevOps practices, focusing on improving reliability, repeatability, and speed of change across Azure- and AWS-based environments through automation and clear operational approaches. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain Terraform modules and environments for Azure and AWSImprove Git-based workflows for infrastructure delivery aligned with GitOps practicesCreate and maintain Ansible automation to reduce manual operational workDesign and operate secrets management patterns using HashiCorp VaultModernise Azure and AWS environments toward automated and secure infrastructure patternsWork on core infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, connectivity, and KubernetesCoach, review, and guide teams toward DevOps practices such as code review, automation, and predictable release flowJob RequirementsStrong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles in cloud environmentsProven delivery of Infrastructure as Code in production with multi-environment lifecycle managementSolid operational background with end-to-end debugging and ability to stay calm under pressureExperience with Terraform, including module design, state management, and safe upgrade practicesExperience with HashiCorp Vault, Ansible, GitOps practices, and Kubernetes platformsStrong Azure skills across compute, networking, identity, and platform services with working knowledge of AWSClear communication, documentation skills, and ability to challenge ways of working while maintaining strong relationships Company description SoftwareOne and Crayon have come together to form a global, AI-powered software and cloud solutions provider with a bold vision for the future.
