We are currently working with an exciting organisation that is looking to strengthen its engineering function with an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern cloud technologies, automation and infrastructure, while having genuine ownership and influence over the technical environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in designing, automating and continuously improving cloud and infrastructure platforms, working closely with development, architecture and security teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructureDeveloping and optimising CI/CD pipelinesImplementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformManaging and improving Kubernetes/containerised environmentsDriving automation and DevOps best practices across engineering teamsImproving monitoring, observability, reliability and system performanceSupporting cloud migration and platform modernisation initiativesWorking closely with development, security and architecture teamsTroubleshooting complex production and infrastructure issuesContributing to technical strategy, standards and best practices
What we're looking for:
We're looking for an experienced DevOps professional with strong hands-on technical skills across:
AWS, Azure or GCPKubernetes / DockerTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeCI/CD – GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similarLinux administrationCloud automation and scriptingMonitoring/observability – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similarNetworking and security fundamentalsExperience working within production environments
