Description

The Role We're looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our engineering team in Malta. In this role, you'll design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade computer vision and machine learning solutions that power our Live Casino platforms. You'll work on exciting real-world challenges including fraud detection, real-time video analytics, operational optimisation, and visual intelligence solutions, while collaborating with backend, platform, DevOps, and product teams to deliver scalable AI-powered systems. What You'll Be Doing: • Design, develop, train, optimise, and maintain production-ready computer vision and machine learning models. • Build scalable AI/ML pipelines covering data ingestion, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining. • Develop solutions for real-time video processing, camera feeds, and low-latency inference. • Create highly scalable inference services for high-concurrency production environments. • Help establish engineering standards, MLOps tooling, and best practices for AI development. • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to integrate AI services into a microservices architecture. • Deploy and manage AI workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies. • Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for model performance, system health, and model drift. • Continuously improve model accuracy, scalability, and inference efficiency. • Evaluate new AI frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance our platform. • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction for AI initiatives. • Produce clear technical documentation for models, pipelines, and operational processes. What We're Looking For: • 5+ years' experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or AI Engineering. • Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and related computer vision libraries. • Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning or computer vision models in production. • Strong understanding of computer vision techniques including object detection, OCR, anomaly detection, and model optimisation. • Experience with real-time video processing, streaming technologies, or low-latency inference systems. • Experience with MLOps practices and machine learning lifecycle management. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architectures. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
