Description

Role: Classic APP Software Engineer Duration: Permanent Location: Sydney Clearence: Baseline Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in C & Oracle DB.Design and implement High-Availability solutions that meet strict SLA requirements.Ability to maintain and support real-time, 24x7 middleware solution systems.Build and support mission-critical, high-volume, long-running Unix server processes.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize performance and reliability issues.Work independently in a small, highly focused team with minimal supervision.Delivery results in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.Mentor team members in best practices for software development and delivery.Produce clear technical specifications and maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation. Education and Professional Qualifications Experience Over 10 years of software development experience in C, including at least 2 years in a team lead role.Proven expertise in C, Pro*C, PL/SQL, and Unix development.Familiarity with object-oriented development in Oracle PLSQL using PLSQL ObjectsExtensive experience working in Linux/Unix environments.Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.General knowledge of containerization in Docker or Podman environment Knowledge and Skills General Understanding of Agile practices and Scrum techniques.Proficient with Git for version control.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems.Development Operating Systems: Linux, Solaris, AIXCompilers & Build Tools: GNU C Compiler, Unix MakeProgramming Languages: C, Pro*C, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, PythonDatabases: Oracle 19c+, development and administration.Database Development: Strong relational database programming skills on OracleTesting: Build and utilize in-house unit and integration testing frameworksSecurity: Build and utilize in-house encrypted toolsets Interested Candidates can share their updated resumes to nidhi.goyal@carecone.com.au or can reach me at +61 291 575 539
