About the role:
As the Application Developer, you will design, build and enhance JCDecaux’s digital and business systems.
You’ll architect solutions, write clean, well-structured code, and rigorously test and deploy new applications.
Translating business requirements into scalable software, integrating systems seamlessly, and delivering measurable improvements in performance and reliability.

Design, build and support web and mobile applications for JCDecaux’s digital and business systemsDevelop, test and implement robust backend services using PHP (Laravel), NodeJS and related frameworksArchitect, optimise and maintain relational and non-relational databases to ensure performance, integrity and high availabilityDevelop and manage APIs and microservices, integrating disparate enterprise systemsDesign and implement responsive, intuitive front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworksConfigure, maintain and support AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, highly available environmentsDevelop, test and support dynamic creative content for JCDecaux’s digital network and large-scale campaignsImplement and review security controls across applications and infrastructure; conduct secure code reviewsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve production issuesConduct peer code reviews, refactor code and maintain technical documentation to continually improve software quality
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience building and supporting web and/or mobile applications using PHP (Laravel), NodeJS and modern JavaScript frameworksStrong skills in architecting and optimising relational and non-relational databasesHands-on experience designing, building and consuming APIs and microservicesPractical experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure in a secure, enterprise environmentRigorous approach to code quality, testing, observability and application securityAbility to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performing digital solutionsStrong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors
